Happy Birthday to my Michelle tomorrow!

Quick note before I head to bed. I want to wish Michelle a very happy birthday! We will be celebrating her birthday Tuesday since Jessie works tomorrow night, so...chicken wings with home made bbq sauce (one of her favs) and my first batch of pumpkin bars for the fall season will be our cake! yumm.
What a nice weekend, still not alot of color, the leaves that did turn have fallen, but there seems to be alot of green leaves around. Maybe we will still get more color this week.
I knew I was starting to feel better this weekend, when I started looking at my pile of recipes. I started a batch of my Amish Friendship Bread Starter mix, so in 10 days I will be making bread and giving away some of the Starter mix. I also found what looks like a great Apple Bread recipe that I hope to make tomorrow. All the local Orchards have their apples out, so I can't wait to try the recipes. And as I said earlier I will be making pumpkin bars tomorrow or Tuesday. I will be pooped.
Hope everyone has a great week. Talk to you all soon.
Love Charlie, Michele, Jessica and Erica

Indeed - happy birthday Michelle - I know the gift you want the most and am sure with time, patience and prayer that that wish will come true. Sounds as though you are feeling much better - we are happy that is the case.

Your passion for life has lifted us to yet another win - you are 4-0 as our captain - three left in the regular season then the playoffs.

Have a great week - and wish Michelle a happy 25th again...

First of all Happy Birthday, Michelle...I called and left a message I hope you got it! Second, wow Charlie it sounds like you are having a good couple of days, how great is that being able to bake and stay awake, I will pray for you to continue to have good energy.

Ordered Bailey a costume for Halloween...a jail dog costume since he had been so bad, but I think it is going to be way to small. I still have to send pictures from super shoe weekend, hope you guys can make it next year!

Have a wonderful Birthday, Michelle and keep up the good energy Charlie.

Hi Chuck,
I just want to tell you how so very proud I am of you....
Each comment you post is filled with positive thoughts - your cup continues to be half full, despite its murky contents.
Countless others could learn from your example - grace and courage under pressure, with a smile upon your face. You are indeed an inspiration, and give your family and friends reason to be proud. Well done Charlie...well done!

On a fun side note, a bit of Shanty Bay football news to share....Thomas' flag football team is headed to the County Championships on Saturday!!! They finished in the top 3 at their area tournament yesterday, and Thomas was thrilled to add another touchdown to his personal record! It was an exciting day for the Bucs!
We'll keep you updated on their progress on Saturday, and I'll post some photos on Facebook for your viewing pleasure.

Take good care Chuck...keep those updates coming...it is so good to "hear" your voice!

with love,
Nancy

Michelle Happy Belated - With all the fall colours coming in to their own and all the cooking Charles completed I trust it has been a busy, heart-warming and memorable time.
Today is spectacular here – sun is magnificent, taking it in to the 20’s when you are out of the breeze. I am compromising as I work an essay from my back deck – sun is just peaking around the corner and the noise of the pond in the background almost makes you feel as if you are outside the city!
By the way, thank you for your support of the Argo’s great win last night against Montreal – you are motivating to them - as odd as that may seem to you and your family.
My Best to You and Yours,
Warm Regards
Rachelle

Once again your strength was our strength. Thank you again for the inspiration. This week the game even becomes more important as we play for first place and the chance to host the Eastern final in Toronto.

Hoping that your treatment has not tapped all your strength - and that you have been able to enjoy the last couple of days outside. Know you are getting your recipes ready for Thanksgiving - and I think your family is coming in a week to visit.

Lots of good things happening - thankful for you and your attitude.
